Media Catalyst is a digital marketing agency registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Media Catalyst, and "you" means anyone visiting this website, enquiring about our services, or working with us as a client.
For anything relating to your personal data, write to privacy@mediacatalyst.ae. We answer within 30 days.
We only collect what we need to reply to you and to run the site.
Contact details — name, email, phone number, company and website, when you fill in a form or email us.
Enquiry details — the services you selected, your budget range and anything you write in the message field.
Usage data — pages visited, time on page, referring source and approximate location, collected through analytics.
Client data — for active clients, access to the advertising, analytics and CRM accounts needed to do the work.
To respond to your enquiry, to deliver work you have engaged us for, to invoice you, and to understand which parts of this site are useful.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. If you have not asked us to contact you, we will not add you to any list.
Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit a form, on the performance of a contract when you are a client, and on legitimate interest for basic site analytics.
You can withdraw consent at any time. It does not affect anything we processed before you withdrew it.
This site uses cookies for two things: keeping the site working, and understanding how it is used. Advertising cookies are only set if you accept them.
Essential — required for the site to function. Cannot be turned off.
Analytics — Google Analytics, to see which pages are read and where visitors arrive from.
Advertising — Meta and Google pixels, used to measure our own campaigns. Set only with consent.
A small number of processors handle data on our behalf: our email provider, our CRM, our analytics provider and our accountant. Each is bound by contract to use it only for the service they provide to us.
Some of these providers store data outside the UAE. Where that happens we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and for five years afterwards, which is the retention period required for UAE tax and accounting purposes.
Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then aggregated.
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also ask for a copy in a portable format.
Access — a copy of everything we hold about you.
Correction — anything inaccurate fixed.
Deletion — your record removed, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Objection — processing stopped where we rely on legitimate interest.
Access to client accounts and enquiry data is limited to the people working on your account, protected by two-factor authentication. We do not store payment card details at any point.
If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. If the change is material we will say so on the site, and email active clients directly.
One email and it's deleted within 30 days. No form, no retention offer.
